Refund Policy
How refunds work for note submissions and optional support on ONEMILLIONNOTES™.

1. Overview
ONEMILLIONNOTES™ reviews note submissions before they enter the public archive. This policy explains when refunds may be available.
There are two different types of payment on the site:
- Note submission payment — required to submit a note for review
- Optional creator support — including the £3 “buy me a coffee” tier and custom support amounts
2. Rejected notes
If a paid note submission is rejected by moderation, the note submission payment will be refunded.
Rejected notes are not published in the public archive. Refunds relate to the note submission payment, not optional creator support selected at checkout.
3. Optional creator support
Optional creator support — including “buy me a coffee” and custom donation amounts — is separate from note publication. These payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law or made in error.
4. Approved notes
Once a note is approved and added to the archive, refunds for the note submission payment are generally not available unless required by law or there is a genuine processing or payment error.
5. Duplicate or mistaken payments
If you believe you were charged twice or made a payment in error, contact us at support@onemillionnotes.org with the details and we will review the request.
6. Processing times
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment provider. Refunds may take several working days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Abuse
ONEMILLIONNOTES™ may refuse service, block submissions, and decline refund requests where abuse, spam, or repeated policy breaches are involved.
